DAVE TICE and MARK EVANS are two seasoned musicians who have come together to form a hard edged acoustic duo featuring Dave’s powerful vocals and blues harp. Their repertoire encompasses blues, rock and country with tunes from Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters to Elvis Presley, Sam Cooke and Wilson Pickett all getting the Tice & Evans treatment .These songs coupled with the many Tice-penned originals make for an eclectic repertoire.

DAVE TICE’S musical history began in the early 70’s as front man for heavy rock Pioneers ‘Buffalo’, recording…. and touring Australia extensively. He returned to his homeland , England , to join “The Count Bishops” , at the forefront of the British R’n’B revival ( along with contemporaries “Dr Feelgood” , co-writing album material for the “Feelgoods” with their guitarist Johnny Guitar ), recording three albums and touring Great Britain and Europe with “The Count Bishops”.

The mid 80’s saw Dave form “The Headhunters” with Mark Evans and “Rose Tattoo’s” Mick Cocks, becoming  a mainstay on Sydney’s Blues circuit with his style of R’n’B, and traveling to America to write with Dennis Walker, producer and songwriter for multi-platinum American blues man Robert Cray.

MARK EVANS is the bass player from the classic line-up of AC/DC of the Bon Scott era that yielded the landmark albums - “High Voltage” , “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”,“TNT”, and “Let There Be Rock”, including the hits “Jailbreak”, “Baby Please Don’t Go” and “It’s A Long Way To The Top”. Mark was based in London with AC/DC recording and touring worldwide with acts such as “Kiss”, “Deep Purple”, “Black Sabbath” and “Motley Crue”, among others. Mark teamed up with Dave in “The Headhunters” and later “The Dave Tice Band”. That working relationship has developed into their acoustic duo.
