Stemming from the harder edge of the local Hawkesbury music scene, Lizard constantly find themselves reverting back to the sounds that made them pick up an instrument in the first place.

If you probed through any band members CDs you would find that the ‘Blues’ makes up the majority of their collection, thus as a consequence what you hear on stage are flashes of the band's upbringing.

‘BIG’ is the way Lizard usually like to interpret their music, but with the recent purchase of one beefy banjo, Lizard have managed to morph a few classics into something not normally heard. Think Hendrix meets the Deliverance and that may give you an idea.

So If you like your big boogie, big riffs, big beats & big banjo, then Lizard is the band for you.
