Carloua are a soulful rhythm and blues band, that play a wide range of Blues standards originating from the deep south and Chicago blues clubs.

The Band is made up of seasoned musicians with many years of experience at performing in major music events and festivals.

The current line up of the Band consists of a female Vocalist / Harp player, Guitarist, Bassist, and Drummer. This line of musicians keeps their sound true to the original Electric Blues sound which developed in the 50’s & 60’s “golden age” of Chicago.

Their primary influence: Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Freddie King, Jimmy Reed, Jimmy Rogers etc.

Carloua was originally formed 15 years ago, and having done the hard yards in our home grown Blues turf, it now enjoys delivering the kind of Blues that get your feet tapping and your heart pumping. There are many influences in Carlou’s sound, but they will always deliver a faithful rendition of the Blues standards.
