Boats of Berlin

Boats of Berlin Whilst comparisons with other contemporary indie folk bands are hard to resist, Boats Of Berlin’s new work is undoubtedly skipping the trend by looking back to the future.

“A big attraction with the music we’re getting into now is timelessness, right now we’re listening to stuff that’s from fifty years ago and we’re trying to make music like that. Looking at Neil Young, Crosby, Still & Nash, and America.

One of the biggest things we want from this EP is that it sounds like we made it in the sixties. But then also you want to make music that’s something new, you don’t want to rehash old ideas. Making something that’s already been done, probably better before.”
